Natalie Gottschalk fifth in NSIC Heptathlon

Aberdeen, S.D. -- First-year athlete Natalie Gottschalk (Waukesha, Wis.) placed fifth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) multi held Sunday and Monday at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. Gottschalk tallied 4,677 points in the heptathlon.
Final Heptathlon results
Gottschalk improved her standing by two positions to finish in fifth place. After day one she stood in seventh place after the first four events. She ran the 100 meter hurdles in 15.44, went 5-01.25 in the high jump, 32-00 in the shot put and ran the 200 meters in 26.94 to give her a first day score of 2,653.
On the second day, Gottschalk went 5.47 meters in teh long jump, threw the javelin 110-03 and ran the 800 meters in 2:22.66.
