Huskies Patience Yalartai earns All-American finish in triple jump

Allendale, Mich. -- St. Cloud State sophomore Patience Yalartai (Bloomington, Minn.) earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division II National Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., May 21-23.
Yalartai placed 11th in the women's triple jump on the final day of competition to earn second team All-American honors with a leap of 39'10".Â
The Huskies had three athletes qualify and compete at the 2015 outdoor championships. In competition over the last three days junior Rafael Saez (Milwaukee, Wis.) placed 17th in the discus  and junior Ryan Johnson (Amery, WIis.) placed 16th in the hammer throw.
