71-67 – This will be the second meeting between St. Cloud State and Augustana this season, as the two teams tipped off in Halenbeck Hall in early February. In that initial meeting, it was the Huskies who came out on top by the slimmest of margins, as they upended the Vikings by a final score of 71-67. Senior Madelin Dammann (Waconia, Minn. / Waconia) was the team's leading scorer in the victory, tallying 20 points on 5-9 shooting with five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Nikki Kilboten (Eau Claire, Wis. / Eau Claire North) added 18 points of her own in the win and tallied a team-leading 12 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season.
3 – Dammann, Kilboten and teammate Tori Wortz (Hutchinson, Minn. / Hutchinson) were all honored by the NSIC on Thursday, as they were named either First or Second Team All-Conference. The three Huskies averaged over 13 points a game against conference opponents in 2019-20, which helped them land on both teams. Dammann was named First Team All-NSIC, the first such honor of her career, while Kilboten and Wortz earned Second Team All-Conference honors after leading one of the most balanced offenses in St. Cloud State history. Wortz additionally was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team earlier last week.
11.3/9.0 – Kilboten has put up some pretty impressive numbers against the Vikings in her Huskies career, as she averages 11.3 points and 9.0 rebounds a game in three meetings with Augustana.
