Huskies to Wear Retro Jerseys from 1985-86 for Homecoming Saturday

Each jersey worn will be auctioned off to the public during the game
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey will wear retro jerseys from the 1985-86 season for its upcoming Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 16 when the Huskies host the Gophers at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. The white sweaters with black and red trim will feature a Husky on skates as the center logo, one which was prominent on the Huskies' home jersey from 1983-86. It was the last logo featured regularly on a St. Cloud State Men's Hockey jersey before exclusively using the "St. C" logo, which the team has worn since the 1986-87 season.
All 28 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off to the public during Saturday's game. Those wishing to purchase a jersey must be present at the game to participate. A table with auction information will be located at the southside concourse of the HBNHC. Winners will be able to take a picture with the corresponding student-athlete and claim the jersey following the game.
Fans are encouraged to wear white on Saturday for a "white-out". The first 1,000 fans inside the HBNHC will receive a matching retro t-shirt. Fans can also purchase St. Cloud State Homecoming 2021 or retro hockey t-shirts through the St. Cloud State bookstore at this link.
Homecoming festivities will officially start on Wednesday, Oct. 13. A full list of campus activities is located here and a list of athletic events is located at scsuhuskies.com/SCSU2021HC.
