QUOTABLES
St. Cloud State Men's Soccer Head Coach Sean Holmes
"Two high-level performances over the course of the weekend is just a little bit beyond our grasp right now with our youth and inexperience. The GLIAC is all about these Friday-Sunday battles. So much good soccer in the Friday night performance, and today in our first half performance we showed some resilience. We were composed, we were mature. Doing it for 90 minutes is still a little hard for us. They had their chance and they finished it. We had a couple of chances and didn't finish. Our margin of error at this level is pretty narrow. I thought Gage Steiner was good in goal, our back four had a good performance. Cullen McSweeney as always was a workhorse in the midfield. I thought Jake Leonard was good off the bench. We seemed a little bit tired going into the final third, and that was the difference. This is a program that's won a National Championship a couple years ago, and they have it right now in their DNA that they know how to go on the road and grind out wins. That battle toughness will come with time and experience."
