"It was a good day for Husky Track and Field!" head coach Sam Kettenhofen said, "We competed very well and left with a lot to feel good about. PR's and a Conference Champion are great things to have at a Conference Championship."
Buechel's Conference Championship is the Huskies' first Outdoor event win since Becky Schmidt took first in the 100 Meter Dash at the 2013 NSIC Championships and the first overall since Natalie Gottschalk earned the top podium in the 2018 Indoor Pentathlon.
