QUOTABLES - Head Coach Sean Holmes
"Today was really strong Sunday performance by our team and indicative of our progress that we have made as a group. We were able to utilize our entire bench and show the depths and quality of some guys who've not had perhaps the same opportunities as others. We went down to a terrific bicycle kick goal and battled back into the game. For us to be successful at the division II level and in the GLIAC we are going to need more than just 11 guys contributing at the moment. Philip Caputo scored a great penalty goal play. Yuken Harmon was a terrific spark off the bench. He was lighting in a bottle. Gage Steiner, Vukota Mastilovic, and Riley Wood were absolutely terrific in the second half. We lost Nolan Pratumwon and Charlie Pritchard last night and the other guys stepped up. Evan Stearns gave a solid performance. Lots of guys jumped around midfield. Jake Leonard was terrific off the bench, particularly in the second half. This puts us into the GLIAC playoffs for the first time. Wednesday night we play Upper Iowa at 6:00 p.m. at home. I am looking forward to see what we can do in the tournament starting next weekend. This was great move forward and to do it against a top quality opponent like UW-Parkside is really gratifying."
