
Steiner Earns GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud State men's soccer redshirt senior goalkeeper Gage Steiner earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) defensive player of the week as announced by the league on Monday. Steiner recorded all 90 minutes of St. Cloud State's shut out victory over Upper Iowa on Sunday.
Gage Steiner shut out Upper Iowa with three saves, earning a critical result on the road. Steiner and the Huskies defeated the Peacocks 2-0 in Fayette, recording their first ever shut out in conference play. SCSU's keeper now ranks second in the GLIAC in saves with 29.
