
St. Cloud State Men’s Hockey Hosts UMD for NCHC Quarterfinals

Start time and TV information finalized for weekend matchup
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – After snagging four of six points in the final weekend of the regular season, St. Cloud State Men's Hockey returns home to the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center to host Minnesota Duluth for the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) quarterfinals March 11-13. The winner of the best-of-three matchup will advance to the NCHC Frozen Faceoff, scheduled to take place March 18-19 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
Friday's contest is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. CT, while Saturday and Sunday's games will start at 6:00 p.m. CT. All three games will be televised on Charter/Spectrum channel UTVS-823 in the St. Cloud area and KBJR-My9 Network in Duluth, as well as streaming on NCHC.tv.
Tickets for the game are available now through scsutickets.com. Students can access tickets through the same process as the regular season but will cost $8 due to NCHC regulations for playoff games.
The Huskies and Bulldogs just finished the regular season with a split against each other, with the Bulldogs winning 3-2 in overtime on March 4 before a 2-0 win for the Huskies on Saturday. Each team finished with 36 points and a 10-10-4 record in the NCHC standings, with St. Cloud State earning the tiebreaker after recording the only regulation win of the season.
