TOP HUSKIES
- Fifth year defender Vukota Mastilovic (Belgrade, Serbia) led the Huskies by playing 76 minutes.
- Fifth-year goalkeeper Dylan De Baldo (Vancouver, Wash.) made a season-high six saves.
- Redshirt senior forward Jonas Luskey Sanders (Madison, Wis.) had one shot on goal and nearly netted his first goal for the Huskies.
"Road trips to start the season are always challenging we schedule them to toughen us up for conference play... today we did not respond correctly when we gave up an early goal... in the end its still just one loss and gives us an opportunity to regroup and shape our team for the next two pre-conference games at Upper Iowa and against Truman State."
On players who stood out... "Despite the score line, I thought Dylan De Baldo was strong in goal and Vukota Mastilovic did an admirable job of marshaling our defense... Yuken Harmon and Ronaldo Lopez provided us some good offensive spark in the second half."
