St. Cloud State Women’s Basketball’s Struggles Continue

Huskies drop below .500 in Northern Sun play after falling to CSP, 64-55
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Basketball (7-6 overall, 4-5 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) came short against Concordia-St. Paul (11-4, 7-3 NSIC), 64-55 on Wednesday night at Halenbeck Hall in St. Cloud.

- Sophomore guard Jada Eggebrecht (Phillips, Wis.) scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed five rebounds.
- Sophomore forward Ashley Sawicki (Waunakee, Wis.) scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and grabbed four rebounds.
- Senior forward Dru Henning (Mukwonago, Wis.) tallied six points, three rebounds and two assists.
- SCSU is now 19-18 all-time against Concordia-St. Paul after the loss.
- SCSU led the game in free throw percentage (69.2%-62.5%), assists (14-10), steals (8-6), points off turnovers (16-14) and bench points (18-13).
- CSP led in field goal percentage (48.1%-38.2%), three-point percentage (30.8%-22.2%), field goals (25-21), free throws (10-9), total rebounds (8-26—34 – 9-21—30), blocks (4-0), points in the paint (30-26) and second-chance points (8-6).
- Both teams made four three pointers and scored seven fast break points.
- Eggebrecht tied season highs in three-point attempts (five) and rebounds (five). She has recorded 10+ points in 32 of her 40 games as a Husky including 10 of 13 games this year. Second game with five rebounds this season. She has scored 16 points in three games, and it is her second highest total of the season.
- Sawicki tied a career high with two steals. She has scored in double digits in eight games this season including the last five. She has recorded 2 steals in three games this season. She has recorded at least four rebounds in all but one game this season.
- Henning has scored 6+ points in six games this season. She has grabbed 3+ rebounds nine times this season. She has dished out two assists or more six times this season.
- Freshman forward Paige Lambe (Verona, Wis.) scored five points on 2-of-3 from the field and 1-of-1 from the line. She has scored 5+ points four times this season.
- Senior forward Jasmine Litt (Pulaski, Wis.) scored five points. She has scored 5+ points 11 times this season.
- Senior guard Morgan Draheim (Hortonville, Wis.) scored three points, grabbed four rebounds and recorded two steals. She has grabbed 4+ rebounds five times this season including the last two games. She has recorded 2+ steals in eight games.
- Senior guard Tori Peschel (Sauk Centre, Minn.) grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists. She tied season highs in three-point attempts (two) and assists (four). She has grabbed 3+ rebounds in all nine games she's played in. She has tallied 3+ assists in five games.
- Freshman forward Abigail O'Reilly (Elgin, Minn.) grabbed three rebounds and recorded her first collegiate assist. She has grabbed 3+ rebounds in three games this season.
