Huskies Concede Late Goal, Fall 1-0 to Roosevelt for 5th Straight Loss

St. Cloud State shutout for third time in last five games
Chicago, Ill.- St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (7-7-0, 5-5-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) fell 1-0 to Roosevelt Friday afternoon. The teams battled to a scoreless first half as the game would be tied 0-0 at the break. The Huskies offense faltered in the first half as they were outshot 11-3. St. Cloud State created scoring opportunities and breaks throughout the entirety of the game but were unable to translate it into shots as they were outshot 22-6 in the game and 9-3 on shots on goal. The Lakers were able to break the tie late in the game as Caco Fernandez found the back of the net in the 78th minute to give them a 1-0 lead. St. Cloud State was unable to equalize the game as they suffered their fifth straight loss with a 1-0 defeat to Roosevelt.
