SCSU drops to 1-1-0 on the season

Quincy, IL - St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (1-1-0) continued their Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) road series at Quincy University (1-1-0) after their 3-2 victory over fellow GLVC member Truman State. The Huskies would give up four goals in the second half to fall 5-1.

Quincy's Leo Cann led the charge, getting things going quickly for the Hawks, scoring in the 11th minute to make it 1-0, then extending the lead to 2-0 in the 47th minute to begin the 2nd half. In the 74th minute, Mathias Bringedal scored for the Hawks to make it 3-0, but Yousif Atia would answer for the Huskies, scoring his first goal of the season in the 78th minute to make it 3-1. However, the Hawks did not slow down, scoring back-to-back goals in the 84th and 85th minute to go ahead and win the game 5-1.
