2016-17: Cross Country – a 2016 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-American...placed 34th nationally at the Division II XC Championships....a 2016 Division II Cross Country All-Regional selection...First Team All-NSIC...selected for the NSIC’s Fall All-Academic Team... placed in the top 10 in six of her seven races on the season and earned All-American status in the lone race where didn't have a top 10 finish...won the UWRF Falcon Invite (22:17.70 and the Bob Waxlax Invitational (21:48.1), finished fourth at the St. Olaf Invite (22:15), ninth at Roy Griak (23:18.8), sixth at the NSIC Championship (20:53.51), seventh at NCAA Central Regional (20:47.74) and 34th at NCAA Championship (21:21.1)

2015-16: Cross Country - Selected for the NSIC’s Fall All-Academic Team...Placed seventh in the UWRF Invitational (23:10.26), 18th at the St. Olaf Invitational (23:23.1), 19th at the Bob Waxlax Invitational (23:11.1), 35th at the NSIC Championships (24:44.8) and 54th at the NCAA Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri (22:44.79)...Track – named to the NSIC Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams...a Second Team All-American in outdoor track in the 10,000m after finishing ninth and qualify the NCAA II Championships – 36:06.56...won the 3,000m twice during indoor season Ted Nelson Classic – 10:15.37 and at the Northwest Open – 10:22.28...placed third in the 5,000m at the SDSU Indoor Challenge - 17:22.85...set the school record in the 10,000m during outdoor season at the Saint Mary’s Open – 35:17.50

2014-15: Gained All-NSIC honors at 2014 NSIC cross country championships with a 19th place finish at 22:33.4...placed 25th at 2014 NCAA DII Central Regional...placed seventh at Bob Waxlax Invitational with time of 22:57...Track - placed 14th at 2015 NSIC Indoor Meet in the 5000 meters at 18:20.14...placed ninth in the 10,000 meters at the 2015 NSIC outdoor meet at 38:12.01...placed 13th in the 5,000 meters at the 2015 outdoor meet at 18:28.32.

2013-14: Earned All-NSIC honors at 2013 NSIC cross country championships with 17th place time of 22:16.42...placed 23rd at NCAA regional with time of 22:01.51...posted best time of 17:39 in the 5000 meters, 36:55 in the 10,000 meters, 5:09.94 in the 1600 meters and 10:17 in the 3000 meters during 2013-14 track season.

Before SCSU: A 2013 graduate of Sauk Rapids-Rice...In 2012, named Track All-Conference in the 3200m run and in 2013 in the 3200m and 1600m run...All-Conference Honorable Mention in the 1600m run and State participant in 2011...set school record in the 1600 and 3200...named Central Lakes Athlete of the Week...team MVP...Athlete of the Year for Sauk Rapids in 2013...Cross-country All-Conference in 2012 and All-Area Team...2X team captain in cross country...two-time letter winner in basketball.

Personal: The daughter of John and Nancy Sunstrom...A community health major at St. Cloud State University...on Dean's List and an honor roll student in high school...enjoys hiking, hammocking, yoga, spending time with family and friends and reading.
