Before SCSU: A 2016 graduate of Elk River High School … part of the track program that was coached by Russell Gnan and Brenda Holmgren…lettered for three years in track & field and participated all four years…named most improved for two years…placed fifth on the varsity top 10 in 300m hurdles…placed third in the 300 hurdles at Section 7A finals…made state meet as a senior…served as one of the team captains as a senior…also a member of dance team for two years and lettered in both campaigns…named to the MADT Jazz All-State team both years…All-Conference Honorable Mention and All-Conference plus Rookie of the Year as part of dance program

Personal: The daughter of Shawn and Maria Brown...received MSHSL Spotlight on Scholarship Award four times…has been a studio dancer for 13 years…in her free time enjoys water skiing, biking, hiking, swimming and other anything that keeps her active…lists her parents as having had the greatest influence on her life…favorite professional athlete is Lolo Jones…majoring in athletic training.
