Women's Basketball Gains 63-55 Win over South Dakota School of Mines

Rapid City, S.D. – The St. Cloud State women's basketball deafeated South Dakota School of Mines for the second time this weekend. The Huskies were victorious over the Hardrockers 63-55.
The Huskies improve to 2-0 overall.
St. Cloud State managed 16 steals on the night and 33 rebounds.
The Huskies shot 34 percent from the field and made 15 of 20 attempts from the line. Betsy MacDonald (St. Paul, Minn.) led the Huskies offensively with 20 points and made five of nine shots from behind the arc. MacDonald grabbed four rebounds and recorded five assists.
Lexy Petermann (Fond du Lac, Wis.) finished with 10 points and a team-high 7 rebounds.
Kahlie Peterson led the Hardrockers with 14 points.
South Dakota School of Mines shot 36 percent from the field. The Hardrockers finished with 35 rebounds and 27 turnovers.
St. Cloud State will return to action Sunday, Nov. 23 as they host Jamestown College in Halenbeck Hall at 2 p.m.
