Women's Basketball to Host Augustana and Wayne State

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State women's basketball team will host Augustana College and Wayne State this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16 and 17. The Huskies are 6-1 on their home court this season as they enter the weekend match-ups with a 10-4 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

Augustana College stands at 10-7 overall and 4-6 in conference play. Ashley Shaunteva who is averaging 21.8 points per game leads the Vikings. Wayne State College enters the weekend 13-3 overall and 7-3 in the NSIC. The Wildcats are led by Jordan Spencer, averaging 15.9 points per game.

Alumni Day: Saturday is Alumni Day for SCSU women's basketball. The day begins with an Alumni Game at 2 p.m., followed by the Huskies game at 4. Alums will be recognized at half-time and social will follow the game in Halenbeck Hall.
