Minneapolis, Minn. – Freshman Abby Jungwirth led the St. Cloud State indoor track and field program at the Parents' Day Open on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 18, at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse. SCSU had nine top-10 finishes on the afternoon.
Jungwirth won the triple jump (11.34m/37'02.50) and finished third in the long jump (5.15m/16'10.75).
Freshman Dominique Buechel finished fourth in both the shot put (10.60m/34'09.50) and the weight throw (12.95m/42'06.00).

Fellow freshman Bailee Brazerol finished fourth in the 60m dash (8.00).

Senior Rachel Sakry placed fifth in the 800m (2:22.93). Freshman teammate Autum Shurbert-Hetzel was eighth in the same race (2:24.95).
Junior McKenzie Holt was fourth in the 3000m (10:36.33).
Freshman Chrissy Lofgren placed fifth in the 1000m (3:10.94)
Next, the SCSU indoor team heads to Mankato, Minn. next weekend to take part in the NSIC Indoor Championships on Friday - Saturday, Feb. 24-25.
