Results

Mankato, Minn. – Senior Sam Sunstrom had the team's top finish to lead the St. Cloud State indoor track & field program at the Ted Nelson Classic over the weekend in the Myers Fieldhouse in Mankato, Minn.

Sunstrom placed third in the mile with a 5:18.16.

Senior Jasmine Grant earned fourth in the 400m with a 59:35

Junior Natalie Gottschalk also finished fourth in the long jump (5.44m/17'10.25).

Freshman Dominique Buechel took home sixth in the weight throw (13.24m/43'5.25")

Next, the SCSU indoor team has a busy week in which the program will compete in three different meets. The program will send some members to the The Showcase at the University of St. Thomas on Friday, Feb. 10, a group to the SDSU Classic on the campus on South Dakota State on Friday, Feb. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 11, and the multi-group to the NSIC Multi-Championships on Sunday, Feb. 12, and Monday, Feb. 13.
