Football to honor seniors in final game of season
11/14/2019 11:03:00 AM | Football
As the 2019 football season comes to a close, the St. Cloud State University football team will honor the 15 seniors who gave their all to the program for four seasons. The season may not have gone as many hoped, but there is one more opportunity end the season on a high note this Saturday, November 16, 2019 when the Huskies will host MSU-Moorhead at 1p.m. in the last game this season. The seniors will be honored during halftime of the game.
Â
With St. Cloud State coming off an impressive win over Minot State University last weekend, the team will look to continue that momentum by beating a Moorhead team that is coming off a heartbreaking 28-24 loss to Bemidji State. After last weekend, the Huskies improved to 4-6 (3-3 NSIC North) while the Dragons dropped to 5-5 (4-2 NSIC North). With a win, St. Cloud State could jump ahead of the Dragons in the final standings with a win and get their vengeance after Moorhead knocked them out of playing in the Mineral Water Bowl a season ago.
Â
Live stats and video will be available during the game, and fans can also listen to play-by-play on AM 1390 Granite City Sports. Score updates will also be made on the team's official Twitter page (@SCSUHuskiesFB).
