Donations to help complete Halenbeck Hall Strength and Conditioning Center project
The 2020 St. Cloud State University Athletics Alumni Challenge is in its final two days. This year's Alumni Challenge, which runs from June 3 to June 10, will help generate funds to complete the Halenbeck Hall Strength and Conditioning Center. DONATE TODAY AT scsuhuskies.com/alumnichallenge.com
Renovating the Strength & Conditioning Center in Halenbeck Hall is the #1 priority for Huskies Athletics. It is a GAME-CHANGER for all of our NCAA D-II programs, so we're dedicating funds raised in this year's Alumni Challenge to support this critical project. The first $100,000 raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar, so any contribution will help with this important project. The facility is badly in need of updating, and the new design will increase SCSU's ability to excel in recruiting and competition. The teams with the highest levels of participation will be given special thanks and recognition in the facility!
"As an athletics department, we sympathize with the many challenges we are facing as a country and within our own communities and families. While we discussed a possible postponement of the Alumni Challenge based upon current circumstances, we decided to go forward knowing that our mission to transform Huskies student-athletes through their intercollegiate athletics experience at St. Cloud State remains," SCSU Director of Athletics Heather Weems said. "The lessons learned through athletics participation, including critical thinking, teamwork, communications, and leadership, are as critical today as ever before. The strength and conditioning center offers an opportunity to build pride in our programs while also enhancing our training opportunities. We value the role our alumni have played in our programs and appreciate your financial support."
