
SCSU hosts Peacocks in Saturday GLIAC tilt

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Soccer continues their seven-game homestand with a solo Saturday match this weekend, battling Upper Iowa at Husky Stadium. The match is the fifth tilt of the Huskies' home stretch that has seen SCSU go 2-2-0.
Saturday's game against the Peacocks will start at 3:00 p.m. CT. Live streaming and live stats will be provided through the SCSUHuskies.com men's soccer schedule page.
Reigning GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week Andres Garcia's seven goals place him in a tie for second among conference opponents, knotted with Upper Iowa's Italo Martins Soares. Emmanuel Iwe has served as a steady offensive force for the Huskies, scoring four goals and adding three assists. Charlie Pritchard owns three assists on the year, while Jake Leonard, Eddie Saydee and Noah Kantorowicz each have two. Matthew Janke started both games in goal for the Huskies last weekend and has gone 1-1-0 this season with a .706 save percentage and a 1.61 goals against.
