SCSU closes inaugural season at Upper Iowa

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Soccer wraps up their inaugural 2021 campaign with a road match on Thursday at Upper Iowa University, concluding a five-game road trip.

The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. CST in Fayette, Iowa on Thursday. Live streaming and live stats for the tilt will be provided through the SCSUHuskies.com men's soccer schedule page.

Andres Garcia's eight goals place him in a tie for third among conference opponents. Emmanuel Iwe has served as a steady offensive force for the Huskies, scoring six goals and adding four assists. Iwe and Charlie Pritchard share the team lead in assists with four, while Eddie Saydee and Vukota Mastilovic each have three helpers. Gage Steiner leads Huskies keepers with a 1.98 goals against average and a .710 save percentage while ranking fourth in the GLIAC with 44 saves. Upper Iowa's Italo Martins Soares is second in the GLIAC with 10 goals, helping the Peacocks to a 9-6-1 record on the season.
