St. Cloud State Track & Field Heads Back to Mankato for Mark Shuck Multi & Open

Huskies will compete Friday and Saturday in Mankato
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Women's Track & Field team is headed back to Mankato this weekend for the Mark Shuck Multi & Open, slated to take place Friday, Jan. 28 and Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Myers Field House. The meet is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. CT on Friday and 9 a.m. CT on Saturday.

The Huskies are coming off an impressive performance in their last meet, the UW-Stout Open on Jan. 22, as St. Cloud State earned 10 top-ten finishes and four personal best marks. Junior Parker Buske (Madison, Wis.) highlighted the day with a win and a personal best NCAA Provisional mark in the Triple Jump while she and senior Dacoda Zimmerman (Racine, Wis.) each gave the Huskies a pair of top-three event finishes.
Zimmerman started things out strong for the Huskies in the Weight Throw, placing second with a personal best 14.98m toss. She also earned third in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.11m. St. Cloud State's Long Jumpers placed three in the top five, led by Buske taking second with an Indoor personal best 5.54m leap while senior Faith Lubner (Reedville, Wis.) (5.41m) and senior Hannah Arason (Grand Forks, N.D.) (5.34m) went four-five. Buske closed out the Field Events with her second straight win in the Triple Jump, covering a personal best 11.89m – a mark that clears the NCAA Provisional of 11.70m and currently places her 16th in the NCAA DII leaderboards.
