TOP HUSKIES
QUOTABLES - Head Coach Sean HolmesÂ
"I was really proud of our squad today. The second half of GLIAC weekends are always tough and I thought we responded well. Especially taking the lead at home. In the end our youth and inexperience let us down a little bit and Purdue Northwest, who were energetic and well coached, snatched the points from us in the end. I thought with five minutes left that a tie might be a fitting score for the contest but a moments inattention makes a big difference in big games. I thought Noah Kantorowicz was unflappable at the back. Noah Eklund gave us a good presence going forward and in his defending. I thought our midfield trio of Nolan Pratumwon, Philip Cuputo, and Zinedine Kroeten were growing and improving every game. Man of the match goes to Owen Worsdell who scored a good goal and was all around terrific on the day. Now we have seven days to prepare for a pretty important game at Upper Iowa."Â
