Huskies concede twice in the first half
St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (7-6-0, 5-4-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference) lost their fourth straight game as they would be defeated 2-1 by Saginaw Valley State Sunday morning. The Cardinals got the scoring started in the 12th as Jayden Cameron knocked in a goal from Felix Tom. The Cardinals would strike again late in the first half as Mzo Mthembu executed a goal off a free kick. SVSU would go into halftime leading the St. Cloud State 2-0. The Huskies offense struggled mightily in the first half as they only produced two shots with none coming on goal. The offense picked up in the second half for the Huskies as they tallied 10 shots in the half with four coming on goal. St. Cloud State made a late surge in the game as Eduardo Balduino put the Huskies on the board with a goal in the 79th minute. The Huskies were unable to strike twice as they would be defeated 2-1 for their fourth consecutive loss.
