SCSU Women's Tennis falls to NSIC rival Augustana

The St. Cloud State University women's tennis team opened a busy NSIC weekend at the Fitness Evolution Tennis Center in Sartell with a 7-2 loss to Augustana University on Saturday, April 9. Â The loss moves SCSU's record to 9-8, 6-3 NSIC.
SCSU's Alexie Portz gained a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Christine Olivo at fifth singles and Jamie Voelker scored a 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 win over Augie's Berkley Darr at fourth singles for the Huskies.
SCSU will complete its weekend on April 10 with home matches against Sioux Falls and Minnesota Duluth at the Fitness Evolution Tennis Center in Sartell. Â These matches will be final regular season home matches for the Huskies. Â SCSU will play Sioux Falls at 1 p.m. and Minnesota Duluth at 5 p.m. Â Admission is free to these matches. Â
