Lara-Maria Schaefer Named Second Team All-NSIC Singles for Huskies

Schaefer is first Husky since 2022 to earn All-Conference Honors
Burnsville, MN. – St. Cloud State Tennis junior Lara-Maria Schaefer earned Second Team All-Conference Singles Honors from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) as announced by the league office Tuesday morning. Schaefer is the first Husky since 2022 to earn All-NSIC Honors.
In her junior campaign, Schaefer produced a 10-5 record in singles play with a 7-3 record against NSIC opponents. Nine of her 10 wins came in straight sets while she notched a 9-3 record in the No. 3 spot and a 1-0 mark in the No. 2 spot. The Nuremberg, Germany native became the first Husky since Claudia Muñoz Perez in 2022 to earn All-Conference honors.
