Softball to host virtual 5k

The race begins Friday, July, 31st 6:00 AM and ends Sunday August, 2 at 5:00 PM. The event is $30 for adults and alumni participants 14 and older and $15 for Jr. Huskies participants (13 and under). You can grab your family and join the fun from wherever you are. Complete this virtual race at your own pace, place and time! All proceeds from the 5k will benefit the new Huskies softball locker room upgrade.
Step 1: Register for the event at the following link and if you have not yet, follow our social media pages for event updates, event raffles, and giveaways. Facebook: @SCSUSoftball Twitter: @SCSUHUSKIES_SB Instagram:scsuhuskies_sb.
Step 2: Print your FREE Running With The Pack 5k race bib and wear it with pride to show your support for Huskies Softball and Husky Nation!
Step 3: Select your Route! You can utilize websites such as Map My Run to map a 5k route in your area. You may run, walk, bike or rollerblade the 5k. Please note: bikers and rollerbladers will NOT qualify for prizes.
Step 4:Â Complete your 5k and don't forget to keep track of your time. Afterwards, manually input your 5k time on the Google link which can be found in your registration confirmation email under "Go to online event page".
Step 5:Â Upload pictures of yourself with wearing your race bib, a screen shot of your participation results, and/or even your running trail to social media. Don't forget to use the hashtag #RunningWithThePack and make the post public so we can view it.
* If you don't have social media, email us your pictures to mremmans@go.stcloudstate.edu and we can add to our social media accounts. The first 50 people to share their 5k stories will be entered into a raffle prize!
*Prizes will be provided by our sponsors for the runners with the fastest documented times. We will have an alumni winner, an overall male winner, an overall female winner and 2 Jr. Husky winners.
