QUOTABLES
St. Cloud State Men's Soccer Head Coach Sean Holmes
"So pleased with the result and the performance. I thought the first half-hour showcased what we're capable of going forward, and I think the second half showed that we still have some maturity and composure to add to our guys. Nine of our 11 starters are sophomores or freshmen, and that energy and enthusiasm they brought to the first half also contributed to some of our errors in the second half. Full credit to Northwood, that's a team that has won a GLIAC championship, they're not going to stop trying and roll over until the last whistle. A better version of us one day will take that 3-0 and finish it off. I was really pleased and excited that Andres Garcia got two. Emmanuel Iwe was terrific, Eddie Saydee marshalled the defense very well. Charlie Pritchard was great in one-on-one defending and most importantly guys came off the bench and made contributions. When you play double weekends and you play in a tough conference it requires a full team effort to get results, and that's what happened tonight. I am ecstatic."
