QUOTABLES - St. Cloud State Head Coach Sean Holmes
"Today was a comprehensive victory for our guys. To win on the road at a strong opponent on a windy Chicago day was a real achievement. We relinquished the lead twice at 1-0 and 2-1 and came through to win the game 3-2. Fantastic effort from back to front. Gage Steiner came up with some big saves. Our back four with Vukota Mastilovic and Noah Kantorowicz anchoring it were terrific. Nolan Pratumwon before he left the game with a minor injury was absolutely flawless but in the end the game belonged to the attacking quartet of Miguel Konde Gwo, Owen Worsdell with the brace, and Zinedine Kroeten and Mika Folstad coming out of midfield. I was so pleased with how we reacted. We would not have won this game a year ago or perhaps a month ago. So this is a sign of positive growth and evolution for all of our guys."Â
