Huskies Light Up Presentation College 76-46

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The St. Cloud State women's basketball team closed a successful opening weekend at Halenbeck Hall Sunday afternoon. The Huskies lit up Presentation College with a 76-46 victory. Freshman Jada Eggebrecht lead the Huskies in scoring for the second game in a row with 20 points.Â
GAME SUMMARY
St. Cloud State may have ended the first period down 10-9Â but that did not deter the Huskies as they bounced back with a strong performance in the second period. The Huskies went into the locker room with a 36-22 point lead. Jada Eggebrecht lead the first half scoring with 13 points while Katrina Theis put up 8 points.Â
Returning to the court for the second half, the Huskies did nothing but increase their lead. The Saints were unable to respond to St. Cloud's aggressive offense securing the Huskies a 76-46 win Sunday afternoon. Jada Eggebrecht lead the Huskies with 20 points and nabbed four rebounds. Katrina Theis knocked down 12 points going 6-7 while Tori Peschel added nine rebounds and six points to the board.Â

The Huskies are off for the next weekend but will return for another game at Halenbeck Hall the following week. The Huskies will open Norther Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on Tuesday, November 22. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. CT tip-off.Â
