Shooting woes plagued the Huskies Offense
ST. CLOUD, Minn. - It was not the St. Cloud State women's basketball team's afternoon in Houghton, MI. The Huskies could not find a shooting rhythm on offense while also had a difficult time holding down Michigan Tech. St. Cloud found themselves behind early on and was unable to respond falling 82-49 Friday afternoon.Â
GAME SUMMARY
Shooting woes plagued the Huskies early on while Michigan Tech took the advantage. By the end of the first half, St. Cloud entered into the locker with a 30 point deficit, only putting up 14 points while Michigan Tech tallied 44. Katrina Theis found herself in foul trouble early on with three and the Huskies felt the loss in the paint.Â
Returning for the second half, the Huskies knew they had work to do. Tori Peschel put up 10 points of the Huskies 18 points in the third period but it was just not enough to slow down Michigan Tech. In the end, the point deficit became too much for the Huskies to come back from as they fell 82-49 to the Michigan Tech Huskies.Â

The Huskies will head over to Marquette, MI to take on the Northern Michigan Wildcats. The game is set for a 2:00 p.m. CT / 3:00 p.m ET tip-off tomorrow afternoon.Â
