Career .391 hitter joins Huskies after four stellar seasons at Minot State
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Softball has announced the addition of two time All-NSIC selection Jamie Odlum as a transfer student-athlete in advance of the 2023 season. Odlum joins the Huskies after four seasons at Minot State and is immediately eligible to compete this spring.
"Jamie's a good player," said head coach Mitch Roberts, "We're a week into practice right now, and she carries herself like a pro. She shows up, she does the work, she works hard and does everything we ask her to. She's a very talented player and we're lucky to have her for a semester. I think she's going to do some great things here at St. Cloud State."
Jamie Odlum joins St. Cloud State after four years with Minot State. The lefthanded hitter has played in 152 games at the collegiate level, slashing .391/.476/.543 for a 1.019 OPS while producing 34 doubles, nine triples, five home runs and 86 RBI. She has scored 109 runs while going 46-for-57 on the basepaths for an 80.7% stolen base success rate. A patient hitter with an exceptional ability to put the ball in play, Odlum owns a 10.4% career walk rate while striking out in just 7.9% of her plate appearances. Originally from Morden, Manitoba, Odlum hit .423 as a junior and .440 as a senior to earn Second Team All-NSIC honors each of the past two seasons while adding two Academic All-NSIC nods in the classroom.
Odlum will wear No. 10 with the Huskies.
