Six from St. Cloud State Softball Earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

Huskies recognized by NFCA for superior academic performance in 2025-26 academic year
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Six student-athletes from St. Cloud State Softball have been selected as 2025-26 Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have attained a GPA of 3.5 or better for the 2025-26 academic year.
Of the 8,850 collegiate student-athletes who captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, 1,869 came from the NCAA Division II level.
Junior outfielder Hannah Harms (Bartlett, Ill.), junior infielder Brooke Holmes (Savage, Minn.) and redshirt freshman Hannah Weckman (Lakeville, Minn.) were honored for the second time in their career/second consecutive season, while senior pitcher Macey Clark (Winneconne, Wis.), redshirt junior infielder Grace Frechette (Forest Lake, Minn.) and freshman infielder Annabelle Ross (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) were all first-time selections.
The Huskies produced one of their most historic seasons in program history in 2026, which included one of the most successful regular seasons and NSIC Tournament runs ever. SCSU reached the 40-win mark for just the ninth time (second straight season) in the program's 57-year history and won the program's first-ever share of a NSIC Regular Season Championship after winning a program record 26 NSIC games. The Huskies also received their first national ranking since 2004 and set program records for all-conference honorees and all-defensive team selections. In the conference tournament, SCSU advanced to its first semifinal during the single elimination era (since 2024) and its first ever NSIC Tournament Championship Game. With their semifinals win, the Huskies also tied the program record for wins in a season, with 46. SCSU was selected for its 11th-ever NCAA Tournament and first since 2019.
