2011: Made her lone start of the season against Southwest Minnesota State on April 21…37 appearances in 2011…posted two stolen bases during sophomore season…totaled 12 runs scored, one sacrifice hit and three at-bats.
2010: Made her first career start against Minnesota, Crookston on April 11…appeared in 30 games for SCSU in 2010…had two at-bats…posted four runs scored…earned first career walk against UMC on April 11…five-for-six in stolen base category.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Mound Westonka High School…in softball she was awarded four letters…2008 All-Conference player...an All- Conference Honorable Mention recipient in 2007 and 2009…was selected two years in a row to the Wright County Conference All-Section squad and received Offensive MVP on her team…Rahn was captain of her team in 2009…her athletic honors consist of the Three Sport Athlete Award her senior year…in basketball Rahn received two letters and was honored with All-JV…girls’ tennis also rewarded her with three letters and gave her the Outstanding Rookie and the Competitor Award as well as making her captain of the team.
PERSONAL: The daughter of David and Jodi Rahn…her parents have had the greatest influence on her career because they always support her…winning her sub-section and then going all the way through sectionals to beat her rivals on the way to state was her greatest sports thrill her senior year…Rahn’s academic honors consist of Distinguished Student in 2007, Academic All- Conference, three Sports Academic Spotlight Awards and her 3.0-3.5 GPA Honor Roll Award…was a Link Crew Leader her junior year...member of the yearbook staff her senior year...enjoys being on the lake, shopping, hanging out with friends and family, attending other sporting events, rollerblading, tubing, snowmobiling, or listening to music…loves to be active…majoring in pre-physical education.
