2011: Ranked third on the team with a .321 batting average…started all 51 games during her sophomore stint…her 13 doubles and seven homeruns ranked second on the squad…amassed a .962 fielding percentage, mainly from the catching position…totaled 156 putouts, 46 assists and just eight errors in the field…26 runs scored were fourth best on the SCSU roster…swung for a career-best five RBI at Minnesota, Crookston to end the season on May 2…2011 NSIC Spring Academic award winner.
2010: Landed on the 2010 All-NSIC Softball Second Team after starting in all 48 games for the Huskies during her rookie season...played 37 games as the catcher for SCSU...second on the squad with 10 doubles...her four homeruns were second best on the team...had a .982 fielding percentage when playing catcher...2-for-2 in stolen base category... second on the team with a .366 batting average...led the team with a .535 slugging percentage...had 15 multi-hit games….swung for a career-high four hits against Southern Indiana on March 13 in Florida…knocked in three RBI in her college debut against Northern State on Feb. 26 in the Husky Dome…tallied a career-best four RBI against MSU Moorhead on April 10…second on the team with 156 putouts and third on the squad with a .970 fielding percentage…voted the team’s Husky Super Slugger.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Chippewa Falls High School…a three-time All-Big Rivers Academic All-Conference player in softball…Academic All-State in softball…lettered three times in softball, hockey, and tennis…a four-time All-Conference First Team athlete…a two-time First Team All-State recipient and a two-time State Runner Up…captain of her softball squad three seasons… in hockey Hogan is a two-time Big Rivers Conference Player of the Year and was a Wisconsin Ms. Hockey finalist after her senior stint…she also is a three-time All-State First Team player…led her team to the Wisconsin State Runner-Up finish…two-time All -Conference player…named her team’s Most Valuable Player three-times along with her team’s Most Dedicated Player…last but not least in tennis Hogan won the Woody Tournament and lettered three times…completed her high school career with 202 points in hockey within three years of playing time and swung for a .430 batting average with 15 homeruns during her prep career.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Joe and Shannon Hogan…says her father has had the greatest influence on her career…hitting a walk off homerun in the bottom of the 8th inning in the Section Finals her freshman year is her greatest sports thrill, which in the end sent her team to the State Tournament…Hogan was awarded the Excellence in Education, the Scholar Athlete Award, Social Studies Student of the month, Science Student of the Month, and Chi- Hi Student of the Week at her high school…landed on the high honor roll all eight semesters of her high school career… loves to participate in hobbies such as Athena, National Honors Society, National English Honor Society, HOSA, and being a LIFE team member…was a senior class officer.
