Bio
2022: In her final season with the Huskies, Thomsen appeared in 17 games with 11 starts in the circle and also appeared in six games as a pinch hitter. As a pitcher, Thomsen posted a 2-6 record and 3.78 ERA, pitching three complete games and 57.1 total innings. She recorded the 200th strikeout of her St. Cloud State career in a win over SMSU on April 24 and earned a win in relief against Sioux Falls on April 23.
2021: Thomsen established herself as St. Cloud State's No. 2 starter early in the season, leading the team in innings pitched and appearances at the end of the season. As a redshirt junior, Thomsen appeared in 21 games in the circle with 15 starts, posting an 8-4 record with a 3.23 ERA. Thomsen earned key wins over Minnesota State and Northern State during the regular season and additionally went 4-9 in 11 games started as a batter.
2020: In her third season with the Huskies, Thomsen appeared in 12 games as a pitcher with nine starts in the circle. She posted a 4-4 record with a 2.54 ERA and 29 strikeouts. Thomsen additionally appeared in four games as a hitter, going 1-10 at the plate with a single.
2019: In her second season at St. Cloud State, Thomsen appeared in 11 games as a pitcher with six starts on the mound. She posted a 4-1 record with a 3.65 ERA and 13 strikeouts. Thomsen also appeared in 12 games as a hitter, going 3-12 at the plate with three runs, a double and three RBI.
2018: In her first season with the Huskies, Thomsen appeared in 35 games and made 27 starts, 19 of which were on the mound. As a freshman, Thomsen led St. Cloud State's pitching staff in innings pitched (140.1) and complete games (11) and finished the season with a 12-8 record and ERA of 4.04. She also impressed as a hitter. In 35 games, Thomsen recorded a batting average of .326, which ranked third on the team, and compiled 29 hits in 89 plate appearances. Additionally, Thomsen scored 14 runs for St. Cloud State and tallied nine doubles, four home runs and 19 RBI for a slugging percentage of .562.
