Bio
2021: This will be Murphy's fourth and final season with St. Cloud State.
2020: As a junior, Murphy appeared in one game for the Huskies, posting a 0.00 ERA in 2.2 innings pitch. She surrendered just two hits in her single appearance during the shortened season and tallied a single strikeout while facing nine batters.
2019: As a sophomore, Murphy appeared in six games for St. Cloud State, posting a .72 ERA and a 1-0 record. She earned her first win of the season in dramatic fashion, pitching two scoreless innings to help the Huskies beat comeback to beat Mary 4-3. Additionally, Murphy scored four runs for St. Cloud State during the season and earned the team's Spirit Award at the conclusion of the year.
2018: In her first season with the Huskies, Murphy appeared in eight games and made three starts as a pitcher. She posted a 1-2 record with a 4.27 ERA in 19.2 innings pitched. She recorded the first win and shutout of her career on April 29 when she blanked Wayne State College in a 8-0 victory.
Before SCSU: A 2017 graduate of Stillwater H.S., where she played for coach Bob Beedle...2X letterwinner in basketball...earned basketball team's Hustle and Most Improved Awards...3X letterwinner in softball...All-Conference pick in 2017 and 2016...All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2015...All-Section selection in 2015 and 2017...named Stillwater's Rookie of the Year...also gained Most Improved and team MVP honors...a 2017 team captain...played summer ball for the MN Force.
Personal: The daughter of Chris and Stephanie Murphy...on honor roll in high school...enjoys working out and hanging out with friends.
