2021: This will be Keating's final season with St. Cloud State.
2020: In her fourth season, Keating continued to lead the Huskies, not only as team captain, but as a hitter and second baseman as well. The senior started all 22 games at second base and recorded 27 hits in 73 plate appearances, concluding the COVID shortened season with a .370 batting average. She ranked second on the team in batting average, on-base percentage, runs, hits, walks and stolen bases and led the team in plate appearances at the end of 2020. She additionally tallied 52 putsouts and 33 assists at second base and committed just three errors. Keating was voted team captain prior to the 2020 season.
2019: Keating had a breakout season in her third season with the Huskies, as she appeared in all 61 games with 60 starts at second base. She earned Second Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region honors after accumulating a team-leading .401 batting average, with 77 total hits. At the end of the season, Keating lead the team and ranked top-10 in the NSIC in batting average (.401), hits (77) and on base percentage (.447) and ranked second in runs scored (49) and stolen bases (29) amongst her teammates. She was also one of the top second basemen in the conference, as she committed just three errors with 61 putouts and 29 assists for a fielding percentage of .968 in NSIC play.
2018: Keating improved upon her fantastic rookie season, as she started all 54 games for the Huskies in 2018. As a sophomore, Keating led the team in multiple offensive categories, including batting average (.379) and hits (64), and finished second on the team in at bats (169), on base percentage (.435), runs scored (40) and stolen bases (14). As the team's starting second baseman, Keating recorded 136 putouts during the year with 94 assists and just eight errors for a fielding percentage of .966.
2017: Played in 55 games with 54 starts...hit .341 with 30 runs, 56 hits, a double, six RBIs, 57 total bases, 19 walks and 18 stolen bases...picked up 16 multi-hit games and had a 26-game on-base streak...had three-hit games against Black Hills State (2/4), Emporia State (2/23), Fairmont State (3/12) and Southwest Minnesota State (4/23)...stole two bases against Emporia State (2/23)...scored two runs against Fairmont State (3/12), Northwest Missouri State (3/19), Southwest Minnesota State (4/23)...fielded at a .962 clip with 109 putouts and 93 assists.
Prior to SCSU: Played three-years of varsity softball at Wheaton-Warrenville High School for Jeffrey Pawlak…a two-time team captain…earned softball All Conference honors in both 2015 and 2016…named to the Chicago Daily Herald Softball All-Area Team in both 2015 and 2016…selected to the Suburban Life Newspaper All-Area Team in both 2015 and 2016…named team MVP as a senior when she batted .500 with an OBP of .589 and recorded 21 stolen bases…selected as DuPage Valley Conference All-Academic Team from 2013-16…earned a three-year varsity starter award in each of her last three seasons…a member of the Athletic Leadership Council (2014-15 & 2015-16)…also lettered in both basketball and volleyball…J. Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Pamela Keating…list her mother, Pamela, as having had the greatest influence on her life…favorite athlete is professional hockey player Duncan Keith…enjoys fishing, hiking, swimming, biking, dancing and watching Criminal Minds in her free time…also claims to know most lyrics to every Disney song…her father, Patrick, attended St. Cloud State...majoring in elementary education with a minor in special education
