Sophomore Season 2023: Kelly Lass Invitational (2/11-12): Struck out four batters and allowed three runs off three hits in 4.2 innings of work against Bemidji State... pitched 1.2 innings against Minnesota Duluth... tossed 3.0 scoreless innings after striking out three batters against Mary to win her first game of the season... Washburn Invite (2/24-26): Threw 1.0 hitless innings against Pittsburg State... allowed one run off two hits and struck out three batters in 2.2 innings of work... Emporia State (2/27): Threw for 3.0 innings allowing four runs off five hits... Clarion (3/7): Pitched 2.2 innings of relief... In her second season with the Huskies, Eickhoff served as the Huskies top secondary pitcher. She appeared in 21 games with 13 starts from the circle, compiling a 9-2 record with one shutout. She struck out 62 batters over 72.0 innings while allowing just five sacrifice bunts. She posted a 3.69 season ERA. In conference play, Eickhoff was an even bigger threat as she went 8-0 against all NSIC opponents. Additionally, she was an NSIC All-Academic team member.
2022: In her first season with the Huskies, Eickhoff appeared in 22 games with 13 starts in the circle for St. Cloud State. She posted a 10-3 record, including a 6-0 mark in NSIC play, and a 2.86 ERA during the regular season. Eickhoff ranked second amongst the Huskies pitching staff in nearly every category, including appearances, starts, ERA, win-loss percentage, total wins, innings pitched and strikeouts. Eickhoff earned the first win of her collegiate career on February 27, pitching five complete innings in a 15-6 victory over Pittsburg State.
High School: A pitcher from nearby Becker, Minnesota, Eickhoff has already put together an impressive softball resume as she enters her final year of high school competition before joining the Huskies in 2021. In her first three high school seasons, Eickhoff is a four-time letter winner in softball and has already earned multiple accolades for her performances both on and off the softball field. As a junior in 2019, Eickhoff earned All-Conference and All-Section honors and was voted "Most Dedicated" by her teammates at the end of the season. Additionally, as a member of her club team, the Minnesota Starters, Eickhoff was named the Pitcher of the Year and led the Starters to the Colorado Sparkler Championship.
Personal: Eickhoff is the daughter of Todd and Jodi Eickhoff. She enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and going to the cabin in her spare times and plans to major in nursing or pre-med at St. Cloud State.
