Bio
2017: Pitched in 12 games with two starts in the circle...went 1-1 with a 5.75 ERA, a save, 28 innings pitched and 11 strikeouts...earned the save against Black Hills State (2/4)...earned the win against Philadelphia (3/12)...had one hit in two at-bats...had a hit and a run scored against Nebraska-Kearney (3/17).
Prior to SCSU: Played at Centennial High School for Janelle DiMartino and Kris Cardille…earned two softball letters and was Northwest Suburban All-Conference in each of the last two seasons as a pitcher…ended her career with a .343 batting average…an honor roll student in each of the last four years…played summer club softball for the Moundsview Mustangs.
Personal: Daughter of Joe and Patti Trost…lists her Dad as having had the greatest influence on her life…favorite pro athlete is Jared Allen….worked a summer job as a daycare teacher…majoring in elementary education with a minor in special education.
