Bio
2023: Trees put together an impressive final season as the Huskies catcher. As the Huskies lead-off hitter, she appeared and started in all 54 games where she posted a batting average of .350 with 57 hits in 163 at-bats with an on-base percentage of .458 while slugging .577. She recorded 45 runs and 29 RBIs, including 4 against Bemidji State (Mar. 18). She tallied 20 extra base hits with ten doubles, seven home runs, and three triples. On defense, the catcher tallied 252 putouts with 37 assists. In the NSIC tournament, she maintained a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage through five games and tallied three home runs to help her make the NSIC All-Tournament team. Additionally, Trees earned CSC All-District honors and was named an NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence member.
2022: Trees put together a breakout season in 2022, earning Second Team All-NSIC honors for her play as the Huskies catcher. As a senior, Trees appeared and started all 54 games for the Huskies, tallying a regular-season batting average of .366 with 60 hits in 164 at bats. She added another hit during the NSIC tournament, closing the season with a .351 batting average and 61 hits. Of her 61 hits, 28 were for extra bases, as Trees tallied a team-leading 17 home runs, 11 doubles and 123 total bases at the conclusion of 2022. She additionally helped the Huskies break the program record for single-season home runs, as her 17 total not only broke the program record for single-season home runs, but ranked third in the NSIC behind Augustana's Mary Pardo and Upper Iowa's Katie Crogan. Trees also ranked fifth in the conference in RBI (51) entering the conference tournament and seventh in slugging percentage (.726).
2021: In her second full season, Trees appeared in 43 games with 42 starts as the team's catcher. She compiled 25 hits in 106 at bats for a .236 batting average, including five doubles, one triple and three home runs. Trees additionally scored 26 runs during the season, 13 RBI and 41 total bases. As the Huskies starting catcher, Trees led the team with 274 put outs to go along with five assists.
2020: In her second season, Trees appeared and started all 22 games as a catcher and shortstop. She compuled 22 hits in 67 at bats for a career-high .328 batting average. Trees led the team in home runs and slugging percentage in 2020 thanks to her four doubles, one triple and six home runs and additionally tallied 17 RBI on the year. As a catcher and shortstop, Trees tallied 41 putouts, 36 assists and six errors in the field.
2019: In her first season with the Huskies, Trees appeared in 36 games with 12 starts. She hit .186 with nine hits and scored eight runs, including the game-winner in St. Cloud State's 10-inning win over Sioux Falls in the NSIC Tournament. Trees tallied the first hit of her collegiate career against UW-Parkside on February 3 and made the first start of her career on February 2 against Missouri Western.
High School: Trees put together an impressive career at Prior Lake, as she led the Lakers to the No. 1 ranking in Class AAAA her senior season. Trees is a 3x All-Conference honoree and earned the Top Slugger Award with her club team the Minnesota A's.
Personal: Trees chose St. Cloud State because of the opportunity to play softball and the school felt like home when she visited. At this time, she in undecided on a major.
