2017:  In her junior season at SCSU, Portz posted an 11-7 singles record and a 15-5 record in doubles play for the Huskies...earned Academic All-NSIC honors...All-NSIC Honorable Mentions in singles and second team All-NSIC in doubles...named to ITA All-Academic team...selected as the NSIC Elite 18 award recipient for women's tennis in 2017...a 2018 NSIC Myles Brand Award winner...an NSIC Butch Raymond Schlolarship Award recipient.

2016:  In her sophomore season at SCSU, Portz posted a 15-4 singles record and a 14-6 record in doubles play for the Huskies...earned Academic All-NSIC honors...All-NSIC Honorable Mentions in doubles.

2015:  In her first season at SCSU, Portz carded a 9-10 singles record and a 7-13 record in doubles play for the Huskies.

BEFORE SCSU: A 2014 graduate of St. Cloud Tech H.S., where she played tennis for coach Paul Bates...5X letterwinner in tennis...All-Conference and All-Section award winner...qualified for state in doubles as a sophomore and as a senior...team captain as a junior and senior...helped tennis team qualify for state as a junior and senior...4X letterwinner in girls hockey...2X All-Conference in hockey and member of All-Area team as a senior in hockey...hockey team captain as a junior and senior....helped hockey team win conference title as a senior...5X letterwinner in golf...three All-Conference awards in golf...state qualifier in golf as a junior and senior...captain of golf team during senior season...vote Tech's Senior Female Athlete of the Year in 2013-14...helped tennis team to fifth place in state in 2013-14...charted career record of 102-21 in tennis at Tech.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Jay and Kris Portz of St. Cloud...biomedical sciences major and international business minor at SCSU...graduated in top 10 of class at Tech High School...National Honor Society...her mother played tennis at SCSU and her grandfather Larry Sundby played tennis at SCSU and went on to serve as women's tennis coach at SCSU for many season (and currently serves as an assistant coach for the SCSU women's tennis teams)...her mother is an accounting professor at SCSU.
