SCSU Softball Falls to Truman State and Grand Valley on Opening Day of Spring Games

Clermont, Florida – The St. Cloud State softball team competed in their first day of the 2015 National Training Center Spring Games. The Huskies fell to Truman State 3-12 and Grand Valley State 5-9.
Truman 12, SCSU 3 Recap
Four St. Cloud State players recorded a hit against Truman.
Abby Bunnell (Maple Grove, Minn.) finished with one hit, three at bats, and one put out.
Alyssa Coletto (Aurora, Ill.) recorded three at bats, one hit, and three put outs.
Jessica Goerger (Mankato, Minn.) finished with a team high four put outs.
Taylor Thomas (Fontana, Calif.) was one of two from behind the plate and had one put out.
Senna Francesconi (Schomberg, Ontario) pitched three innings for the Huskies. Francesconi finished with three strikeouts, gave up nine hits and walked two.
