The St. Cloud State University tennis team completed its 2017 home schedule with a solid 5-4 victory over nearby rival College of St. Benedict on Saturday, March 25. The match was contested at the Sta-Fit Tennis Center in nearby Sartell, Minn. The win moves SCSU's record to 9-5 overall, while the Blazers fall to 8-7 on the season.
The Huskies gained victories at all three doubles positions and also added wins at fourth and fifth singles by Jill Kedrowski and Alexie Portz to complete the result. Complete scores for the match are listed below.
SCSU will return to action on March 31 with a pair of NSIC matches against Minnesota State, Mankato and Southwest Minnesota State. Both matches will be played at the indoor tennis facility on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
