SCSU women's tennis loses to Winona State on Feb. 17

The St. Cloud State University women's tennis team (1-4, 1-3 NSIC) completed its weekend at home with a 6-1 loss to NSIC rival Winona State University. The match was played at the Sta-Fit Tennis Courts in nearby Sartell on Feb. 17.

In singles play, the Huskies were led by Jill Kedrowski, who scored a 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 win at fifth singles. Kedrowski and partner Fernanda Morais Quintino dos Santos also posted a 6-4 victory for the Huskies at first doubles. Of note, Kedrowski is now 3-0 in singles play this season and 4-1 in doubles action for the Huskies at first doubles.

The Huskies will continue their 2019 season on Feb. 22 with a match against Minnesota State and a Feb. 23 match against Southwest Minnesota State. Both matches will be played on the indoor courts in St. Peter, Minn. Complete results from the match against Winona State are listed below:
