The St. Cloud State University women's tennis lost a close 4-3 decision against Minnesota State University in a match played at the indoors courts in St. Peter, Minn. on Feb. 22. The Huskies will complete their weekend trip to St. Peter with an NSIC dual match against Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 23.

In action against the Mavericks, SCSU posted three wins in singles play starting with a 6-3, 6-0 victory by Ann Marie White over MSU's Camila Ojeda at fourth singles. At fifth singles, Jill Kedrowski scored a 6-0, 6-2 victory over MSU's Valerie Bresnahan and Oliva Fredrickson won a 6-1, 7-5 victory at sixth singles for SCSU.

In doubles play, Kedrowski and partner Fernanda Morais Quintino dos Santos scored a 6-4 victory at first doubles over MSU's Erin Streeter and Monika Ryan.

SCSU is now 1-5, 1-4 NSIC in 2019, while MSU improves to 4-5, 2-3 NSIC.
