Upper Iowa tops St. Cloud State in women's tennis action on Feb. 16

The St. Cloud State women's tennis team dropped a close 4-3 loss to NSIC rival Upper Iowa on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Sta-Fit Tennis Complex in Sartell, Minn. The loss drops SCSU's record to 1-3, 1-2 NSIC on the season.

In singles play, SCSU gained wins at #4 singles by Ann Marie White and at #6 by Jill Kedrowski. In doubles play, SCSU's Samantha Fitzpatrick and Olivia Fredrickson posted a win at #2 doubles, while Abby Scheck and Sommer Kopff won their match at #3 doubles.

SCSU will continue its 2019 season on Feb. 17 with a home match against Winona State at 1 p.m. Admission is free to this key NSIC showdown. The complete results for the SCSU-UIU dual are listed below::
