St. Cloud State opened the day with a sweep in doubles play, as all three teams dominated to give the Huskies an early 1-0 lead. No. 1 team of Jill Kedrowski (St. Cloud, Minn. / Tech) and Frances Hina Goldsmith (Honolulu, Hawaii / Dixie State) played the "closest" match of the session, as they defeated the Mavericks team of Tyanna Wash and Lauren Goth 6-3.
